Responsible for the administration of the Graduate Program, including graduate degree requirements, PhD admissions, teaching assistants, and graduate financial aid. Department officer for postdoctoral scholar appointments. Primary department contact for graduate students and postdocs.
Emily worked in Undergraduate Advising and Research as the Research Programs Coordinator, supporting Stanford's phenomenal undergraduate researchers and student grants programs, in her previous Stanford position before June 2017.
Before moving to California in late 2014, Emily worked with undergraduates at MIT as a Graduate Resident Tutor. In addition to her position at MIT, she worked as an editorial assistant at the American Journal of Kidney Diseases, a leading journal in clinical nephrology. Emily completed both her BA and MA in English literature at Purdue University, where she taught introductory composition and rhetoric.
