I am an interdisciplinary artist and scholar focused on indigenous modalities of communication with the environment and our ancestors. I am from Long Beach, California and born into a lineage that is African-American, Choctaw, and Irish/British in origin. My ancestors have been based along the genesis of the Mississippi River near the Great Lakes and the feet of the Mississippi River in Louisiana. My passions include midwifery, ecology, cartography, song, and dance.
