I am an interdisciplinary artist and scholar focused on indigenous modalities of communication with the environment and our ancestors. I am from Long Beach, California and born into a lineage that is African-American, Choctaw, and Irish/British in origin. My ancestors have been based along the genesis of the Mississippi River near the Great Lakes and the feet of the Mississippi River in Louisiana.
