Amirali is a postdoctoral fellow in the department of Electrical Engineering working with Prof. David Tse and Dr. James Zou. His research interests are in machine learning, statistics, and large-scale computing with applications to genomics, diagnostics, and health. He develops machine learning algorithms to analyze large-scale datasets, as well as, machine leaning tools to design sensing systems. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University in 2017.
Master of Science, Rice University (2014)
Doctor of Philosophy, Rice University (2017)
