Aron Wall is currently a research scientist at the Stanford Institute for Theoretical Physics, but in 2019 he will join Cambridge University as a Lecturer. He did his Ph.D. at the University of Maryland with Ted Jacobson, and was a postdoc at UC Santa Barbara and the Institute for Advanced Study. He is currently studying the origin of the holographic principle, and the relationship between energy and entanglement entropy in quantum field theory.
