Benjamin joined the E-IPER team in October 2014. As the Administrative Associate, he serves as a primary contact for the program and provides support with program administration, finances, communications, and other various projects. Benjamin's professional experience focuses on administering and coordinating undergraduate research programs geared toward increasing diversity in the sciences.

Benjamin graduated as an Honors Scholar with a Bachelors in English and American Literature from New York University. Driven by his lingering childhood passion for the sciences, Benjamin decided to pursue post-baccalaureate studies and return to school in an attempt at a career change. He currently attends De Anza College to fulfill prerequisite courses prior to applying for a graduate program.

In his spare time, Benjamin likes to eat snacks, take dance classes, and spend time with his nephew, whose name is ironically Emmett.
