    BioWhitney Saia is a native of Nashville, Tennessee and works as a Nurse Practitioner in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery department at Stanford. Whitney completed her Master of Science in Nursing degree at Tennessee State University and developed her aesthetic training at NYU in New York City. In her current role, she supports several plastic surgeons in managing the outpatient care for cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, with the goal of providing a humanistic approach to recovery.
    In addition to her role as part of the surgical team, Whitney leads an autonomous cosmetic clinic providing aesthetic injectables and facial rejuvenating treatments. Her passion for continuing education in the medical aesthetic space has driven her career toward new cosmetic trends, anti-aging treatments, skin care and post-operative plastic surgery care. She is a member of the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses (ISPAN) and received her Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist certification from the Plastic Surgical Nursing Certification Board (PSNCB). Whitney has lectured at numerous national plastic surgery conferences and assists with cosmetic trainings for Stanford residents. She believes in a natural approach to rejuvenation and prides herself on making her patients feel comfortable and relaxed when seeking cosmetic treatments.

    BioKelly Sanderson, NP, is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and an Emergency Nurse Practitioner. Kelly completed her nurse practitioner training at Georgetown University, and worked in primary care and corporate health before joining Stanford in 2016. She particularly enjoys helping patients with acute medical needs, and maintains clinical interest in wilderness and travel medicine.

    Suzanne brings twenty-three years of clinical experience to her current role as a Nurse Practitioner in adult inpatient cardiothoracic surgery. Awarded a bachelor’s degree in Health Science Nursing from Victoria University in Melbourne Australia in 1997. Her experience included ten years of critical care and emergency nursing prior to completing and a dual master’s degree in Nursing from California State University Fullerton, and a Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from University of California Irvine in 2008.

    As a Nurse Practitioner Suzanne has worked in Electrophysiology, Cardiac Intervention and Cardiothoracic service lines. Here at Sanford Healthcare she is involved in staff nurse education for cardiac surgery, Advance Practice Fellowship, preceptor and mentorship for the Physician Assistant Program in the school of Medicine, and a preceptor for varied Nurse Practitioner programs affiliated with Stanford Healthcare. She is currently pursuing her RN First Assist Certification.

    She resides in Scottsdale, AZ with her husband and three-yr-old chocolate Labrador.

    BioDeepa Shah has 20 years of experience in Primary care, Emergency medicine and Oncology. She is currently part of a multidisplinary team taking care of head and neck cancer patients. She is also the Director of Advance Practice at the cancer center.

    BioPriyanka A. Shah, MHS, PA-C is an Advanced Practice Provider at Stanford Health Care. She graduated with her Masters in Health Sciences, Physician Assistant degree from Quinnipiac University in 2018. Her area of clinical practice is Hospital Medicine as part of the inpatient medicine service at Stanford Healthcare. She also serves on the APP deployment team to provide care in areas of need across SHC during the COVID 19 pandemic. She previously worked at the Stanford Cancer Center in Head & Neck Surgical Oncology. She additionally has previous experience working as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant at O'Connor Hospital and St. Louise Regional Hospital.

    BioKathleen Smith, RN, MS works as an advance practice provider in breast medical oncology. She has been employed by Stanford since 1986 when she began her career as a bedside nurse, working on a cancer clinical trials unit. She completed a MS in oncology nursing at UCSF in 1990 focusing on better understanding of cancer biology which led to a new role for her at Stanford between 1990-1996 as Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist. As she evolved as a clinician, she realized she wanted to return to direct patient care and thus pursued a post master's Nurse Practitioner certification. Since 1996, she has been working as a medical oncology nurse practitioner. Initially, she worked in all subspecialties of medical oncology, however over the last 20 + years she has focused primarily in breast cancer care. Her interests currently are in breast medical oncology care, breast cancer research, and furthering the role of advance practice providers through teaching and mentorship. She loves her work at Stanford and feels fortunate to partner with amazing women and men both as patients and colleagues.

    When not at Stanford, Kathleen spends time with her family - husband and two sons who both are attending college. She loves spending time in the Pacific Northwest hiking and in the outdoors. Baking, cooking, and musical theater are a few of her favorite hobbies!
