BioLilla is a senior from Santa Barbara, California. She is in the Human Environmental Systems track and will be completing the M.S. in Earth Systems next year with a focus in Urban Ecology. Sarah Avery Claire Taylor
Masters Student in Earth Systems
BioSarah is an undergraduate in the B.S. program in Earth Systems with a focus in human environmental systems. Specifically, her interests include climate change modeling, environmental policy and law, and sustainability. She is a student advisor for the Stanford Earth Systems program and in charge of maintaining alumni relations.
During her time at Stanford, Sarah has found a passion in educating her peers in sustainable food practices. Sarah is also a two-time kitchen manager on the Stanford row, and this year is entrusted with student staff training for all kitchen managers. Within her role as a kitchen manager she strives to optimize the intersection of student health, nutrition, and sustainability.
On the weekends you can find Sarah hiking nearby at Hidden Villa, brewing craft kombucha, and tending to her 15 chickens. She is from Dallas, Texas and a graduate of The Hockaday School.
