Amir Hossein Delgoshaie
Ph.D. Student in Energy Resources Engineering
Current Research and Scholarly InterestsI study models for flow in porous media. In particular, I am interested in the class of nonlocal models and stochastic models, which I believe are relevant for simplifying the workflow for reservoir simulation. The fact that these models can also be used in multiple scales makes them an even better candidate for modeling subsurface flow.

Bertrand Delorme
Ph.D. Student in Earth System Science
Masters Student in Earth System ScienceCurrent Research and Scholarly InterestsIn this work, I investigate how surface-generated equatorial waves could drive abyssal mixing in the ocean through a mechanism of near-bottom wave trapping as a result of the horizontal component of the Earth’s rotation.
