BioSangjoon "Joon" Lee is a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Turbulence Research (CTR). He received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering with a designated emphasis in Computational and Data Science and Engineering from UC Berkeley, under the guidance of Professor Philip S. Marcus. His expertise is built on a strong foundation in Fluid Mechanics and Computational Science, encompassing areas such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Vortex and Turbulence Physics, Numerical Algorithms, and Machine Learning (ML)-based Hydro-/Aerodynamic Design Optimization.
