Current Research and Scholarly InterestsMy research focuses on the intersection of entrepreneurship and institutions within nascent markets. Theoretically, I take an organizational theory lens to study the temporal dynamics of strategies used to resolve the institutional contradictions between the old and new rules, norms, and practices. Methodologically, I use natural language processing models and other machine learning methods to quantitatively analyze entrepreneurs' fundraising strategies and framing strategies.
