    BioDr. Maya Cruz is an interdisciplinary scholar and educator of Feminist Science and Technology Studies. Dr. Cruz received her PhD in Cultural Studies, Science and Technology Studies, and Feminist Theory and Research from the University of California, Davis, where her research focused on developing Feminist STS and Critical Race and Ethnic Studies approaches to contemporary US space exploration on Mars.

    Dr. Cruz's research interests include feminist and Ethnic Studies approaches to STEM research and social justice, especially reproductive justice and disability justice, as well as feminist STS pedagogy.
