Allison Beers Constant

BioDr. Constant is a neuropsychiatry fellow at Stanford University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in neuroscience at Vanderbilt University. She completed her medical training at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons and psychiatry residency at Kaiser Permanente in San Jose. Her research includes a focus on neuropsychiatry and interventional psychiatry, with a specific interest in transcranial magnetic stimulation.

Kate Corcoran, PhD
Clinical Professor, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences
BioDr. Corcoran is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, where her work focuses on psychotherapy education, clinical supervision, and the practice of evidence-based psychotherapy.
She serves as Curriculum Director of CBT Training for the Psychiatry Residency Program and is actively involved in psychotherapy training across multiple levels of graduate and postgraduate education. She teaches cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to psychiatry residents and first-year graduate students in the Psy.D. Consortium program and supervises postdoctoral fellows and PGY-3 psychiatry residents through the ADAPT Clinic. In her teaching and supervision, Dr. Corcoran emphasizes strong case formulation and a principle-based approach to CBT, helping clinicians learn to apply evidence-based methods thoughtfully and flexibly.
In her clinical practice, Dr. Corcoran specializes in evidence-based psychotherapy for adults experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, and related concerns. Her approach draws primarily from CBT while incorporating mindfulness-, acceptance-, and compassion-based approaches, with an emphasis on understanding each patient’s needs, experiences, and goals. Her current interests also include helping women navigate transitions across different stages of life, including perimenopause and menopause.
