BioJeroen’s expertise is evidence synthesis and decision modeling. His current interests are statistical methods for evidence synthesis and the development of open-source consensus based decision models to facilitate value assessment of medical interventions. Jeroen has performed applied and methods research in his areas of expertise. Notable contributions are guidance for consumers and producers of network meta-analysis studies, meta-analysis models for synthesis of time-to-event data, repeated measures, and integration of patient level data with study level data. He is a co-author of a textbook on network meta-analysis for decision-making. Jeroen has a PhD in epidemiology from the Erasmus University in the Netherlands.
