Dr. Khachi serves as Adjunct Clinical Faculty at both Stanford University and the University of Southern California (USC), where he teaches and supervises child psychiatry fellows and residents. Dr. Khachi completed his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Stanford University, where he served as Chief Fellow. BioI am a physician with specialized training in gastroenterology and hepatology. My research primarily focuses on clinical research into metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), chronic liver diseases, and obesity-related gastrointestinal diseases, with a population-based study. In addition, my research has expanded to encompass cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, and psychiatry. I have extensive experience in large epidemiologic cohort studies as well as clinical trials. This work has resulted in over 300 published papers in prominent journals, including Gastroenterology, Journal of Hepatology, Gut, Hepatology, and Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, with the author serving as first or corresponding author.
