She specializes in the treatment of immunocompromised patients, including patients who have had solid organ or bone marrow transplantation or who have malignancy undergoing chemotherapy. She also has a special interest in caring for patients with Cystic fibrosis or who have had a lung transplant as well as Nontuberculous mycobacterial Infections.

Current Research and Scholarly InterestsOur research objectives are to understand the cellular mechanisms involved in the development and maintenance of epithelial cell polarity. Polarized epithelial cells play fundamental roles in the ontogeny and function of a variety of tissues and organs.
