Resident in NeurosurgeryBioJennifer was born and raised in New York and received her undergraduate degree in neuroscience from New York University. Her interest in the neurosciences continued as she completed medical school at Yale School of Medicine. During medical school she spent a year as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute research fellow working on an induced pluripotent stem cell model for congenital brain malformations. Jennifer has a particular interest in improving the quality and effectiveness of patient care, especially for pediatric neurosurgical patients. Under Dr. Kristen Yeom’s group at Stanford, Jennifer is using machine learning to develop automated intraoperative navigation and to improve patient outcomes. Outside of neurosurgery, Jennifer enjoys traveling, trying new food, and spending time with friends and family.
