My role encompasses responsibilities as Associate Dean, Industry Relations and Digital Health, In this capacity, I lead Stanford Medicine’s Office of Industry Relations and Digital Health (IRDH) whose mission is to foster relationships that will promote discovery, accelerate the use of technologies that advance human health, and translate today’s breakthroughs into tomorrow’s standard of care. IRDH serves as the front door for organizations interested in exploring a strategic relationship with Stanford Medicine. The work is part of Stanford Medicine's Strategy Team, led by Priya Singh.
I also co-lead the Stanford Medicine Catalyst program with Dr. Euan Ashley. We focus on discovering, supporting and propelling healthcare innovation from within the Stanford community. When these innovations are ready, we assist in the commercialization and scaling to reach maximum impact and improve human health. https://smcatalyst.stanford.edu

BioKevin Helenius is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery. He graduated with his Master Physician Assistant (MPA) degree from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, CA. Kevin is also a board-certified athletic trainer (ATC) and began his career in sports medicine as the athletic trainer at a local high school in San Jose, CA. Kevin recently returned to the Sports Medicine clinic at Stanford Health Care, where he previously worked prior to his PA education. He currently assists Dr. Tim McAdams in surgery and provides patient care in the outpatient clinic setting. Kevin is also a clinical instructor and PAC Mentor with the Stanford School of Medicine Master of Science in Physician Assistant (PA) Studies program.

Her Ph.D. research in the field of Microbiology focused on the opportunistic fungal pathogen Candida albicans. During her time in the M.D.-Ph.D. program she discovered her interest in Radiology, and the possibilities for visualizing the interaction between microorganisms and the human body.

Jon Hochstein

I also completed an intern year in Pediatrics resident at Boston Children’s Hospital before transitioning to cardiothoracic surgery. I received my MD from Harvard Medical School in the Health Sciences and Technology program joint with MIT. I trained as a biomedical engineering at the Johns Hopkins University with a focus in instrumentation.
I've interests in medical devices spanning from assistive robotics, surgical devices, to point of care devices. I have extensive experience working in the electronics and coding aspect of device development.
My long term goal is to become a congenital cardiovascular surgeon and improve the field of transplantation (partial and whole), congenital cardiac surgery techniques, and congenital mechanical circulatory support. This vocation comes from my personal experience receiving a heart transplant in 1999. -
Yuhao (Danny) Huang

Resident in NeurosurgeryBioI am a resident and post-doctorate researcher in the Department of Neurosurgery at Stanford University. As a physician-scientist with a focus on signal processing and neural electrophysiology, I work with multimodal datasets to understand how brain signals correlate with human behavior. I am interested in using computer vision and machine learning to parse neural correlates of behavior under naturalistic settings. Another area of interest involves building robust neuro-modulatory treatments for functional disorders and epilepsy. I received my BSc at University of Alberta and my MD at Stanford University.

Sung (Dave) Jeon, MD

BioDr. Jeon is a neurocritical care fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine. He studied English and Neuroscience at Amherst College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He subsequently acquired his medical degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, and completed his residency in neurology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He has a background in liberal arts with experiences in palliative care and clinical research, which ranges from deep-brain electrophysiology, behavioral psychiatry, as well as management of status epilepticus and low NIHSS large vessel occlusion strokes. Some of his favorite hobbies include hiking, reading, wine tasting, and going to the dog park with his roommate Kaia, who is one judgmental Shiba Inu. He fell in love with neurocritical care in medical school and residency for its high acuity environment, complexity of cases, and interaction with patients and families.

Prerak Juthani

Resident in MedicineBioPrerak Juthani is a Bay Area native and completed his undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley, where he graduated summa cum laude and double-majored in Molecular Biology and Public Health. He then went on to Yale where he was able to bridge his love of medicine and entrepreneurship by completing the joint MD-MBA program. Prerak’s first stint in entrepreneurship was when he created an organic chemistry board game called REACT! (reactgame.com); he brought it to market by crowdfunding over $25,000 and the game has sold hundreds of copies worldwide. Outside of the hospital, Prerak has a Youtube channel where he creates videos to increase transparency of what it’s like to be a medical student and resident; he also has a podcast called Red, White & Brown, which provides an insight into the novel immigrant experiences of first-generation South Asian immigrants.

He founded the Applied Ethics in Interventional Radiology (IR) working group, a multi-institutional group of faculty and trainees developing practical approaches to challenging situations in IR. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Interventional Initiative, a nonprofit devoted to patient and clinician awareness, access, and advocacy regarding minimally invasive image-guided procedures.
