Current Research and Scholarly InterestsI specialize in nineteenth- and early twentieth-century British and American literature, with a focus on sound studies, technology, urban spaces, and poetry. I'm particularly interested in Gerard Manley Hopkins, Emily Dickinson, Alfred Tennyson, Robert Browning, Walt Whitman, John Clare, Stephen Crane, and Virginia Woolf.
