Bio
Dr. Cynthia Messina joined the Medicinal Chemistry Knowledge Center as a postdoctoral scholar in April of 2022. She works in collaboration with Prof. Justin Annes laboratory developing novel therapeutic strategies to prevent and treat disorders of endocrine cell growth. Cynthia obtained her Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry from the laboratory of Prof. Pat Forgione at the Concordia University in Montréal, Canada. Her research focused on developing new practical and green methodologies for facile access to multi-arylated heteroarenes.
