Erica Johnston is a research analyst at the Woods Institute and the Stanford Environment Assessment Facility (SEAF). The focus of her research is integrative assessment of climate change impacts and adaptation. Applying expert judgment to integrate different lines of evidence, both quantitative and qualitative, the aim of assessment is clear communication of the resulting synthesis of knowledge.

Prior to joining Stanford, Erica worked as a research assistant at the Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future, where she aided the Food System Sustainability & Public Health lab in its research of resilient, sustainable food systems. Erica holds a BA in Earth and Planetary Sciences from Johns Hopkins University.
