Bio

I'm currently a 3rd year PhD student in computational mathematics (ICME). My interest and ambition is to apply cutting edge machine learning/deep learning/artificial intelligence theories to business, finance and even social science. I was advised by Prof. Andrew Y. Ng.

Before entering Stanford, I got my B.Econ in Politics, Philosophy and Economics(PPE) and B.S. in math from Peking University.

Work Experience

  • Software Design Engineer, Amazon, Inc. (June 16, 2016 - September 6, 2016)

A graph based data aggregator for Amazon’s notification service
    • By abstracted each data query as node and their relations as edges in the graph, this service will find only minimal
path of nodes to fire and batch similar queries as much as it can, which will save more then 27% latency on average.
    • By the end of the internship, there are already more than 10 internal service using this project.
