Bio


I am currently a Physician Assistant in the department of Orthopedics/Sports Medicine at Stanford Healthcare. I develop strong relationships with my patients and co-workers and enjoy working as a team to deliver high quality, evidence-based care.

I have been a Physician Assistant for 21 years and have worked in Orthopedics for the last 18 years. My current position in Orthopedics focuses on Sports Medicine. I currently work with the Stanford collegiate athletes as well as the San Francisco Forty-Niners NFL team. I see new patients, new problems, first assist in the OR, and do pre-op and post-op exams. I also formerly worked with all the collegiate athletes at the University of Cincinnati for 16 years and with the Cincinnati Bengals NFL team for 12 years.

I am an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, California Association of Physician Assistants, and the Physician Assistants Orthopedic Society. I am currently licensed in California. I have a current DEA license, ACLS and BLS certifications.

I have co-authored one book chapter. I have been involved as a sub-investigator or lead investigator on over 35 clinical trials and have co-authored several published peer reviewed articles. I earned my Bachelor of Health Sciences/Physician Assistant Studies from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana and my Master’s degree in
Physician Assistant Studies at University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska.
