Bio
Helen is a lecturer in the Program in Writing and Rhetoric and Oral Communication Program. She previously taught public speaking at the University of San Francisco. Her background and interests include speech and communication studies, learning and instruction, presentation skills training, non-profit advocacy, and voice and speech training. Whether teaching a class, facilitating a workshop, or working one-to-one with students, Helen enjoys listening to students and helping them organize and articulate their thoughts with clarity, overcome speech anxiety, and develop confidence as effective and ethical communicators.
