Jen Rhymer is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Center for Work, Technology, and Organization (WTO) at Stanford University in the Management Science and Engineering Department (MS&E).
Her research focuses on understanding how organizations design systems of work, particularly in the context of location-independent and virtual-first organizations. She leverages field studies to develop theoretical insight related to organizational structures and behaviors being utilized for collaboration. In addition, she explores how organizations use technology to coordinate and control activities. This research contributes to ongoing conversations around organizational design and the future of work.
