Bio

I am a second year Ph.D. student in Institute for Computational & Mathematical Engineering at Stanford. Before coming to Stanford, I obtained my B.S. degree in School of Mathematical Sciences, Peking University (China). My current research interest mainly lies in the joint of optimization and machine learning, especially convex optimization, Bayesian optimization and reinforcement learning. Apart from this, I'm also interested in application of these techniques to (renewable) energy problems and data mining problems.
