Mai Gillingham has been a physician assistant since 2008 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin Madison. She initially worked in bone marrow transplant through the Medical College of Wisconsin/Froedtert Hospital for 3 years. She then relocated to California and worked in a hematology/oncology private practice in the East Bay for 3 years. Mai joined Stanford Healthcare in 2015 and has been with the blood and marrow transplant department since then providing care for cancer patients.
