Current Research and Scholarly Interests

Recently immigrated English Learners who have arrived after 9th grade, graduated from a California high school, and have enrolled in post-secondary institutions. The focus is on immigration and education policies that change newcomers’ experience in these academic spaces, unlike other first-generation English learners.
