Nagendra Kumar is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Ophthalmology, Stanford University. He completed his PhD in March, 2022 in experimental optics from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India where he developed a grating based zonal wavefront sensor using a computer-generated holography technique by using a liquid crystal spatial light modulator. He received his MSc in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India, in 2015 and Bachelor in Physics from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India, in 2013. He is working on advancing ophthalmic wavefront sensing and adaptive optics systems for retinal imaging.
