Bio


Dr. Napoleon Paxton is a seasoned professional in the information technology field. He has over 20 years of experience applying and leading teams to develop advanced analytical techniques to diverse datasets. Here at Stanford, Dr. Paxton is a course facilitator for XCS221 Artificial Intelligence: Principles and Techniques.

Dr. Paxton has a Ph.D. in information technology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He has a Masters Degree in Data Science from the University of California at Berkeley and a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from Elizabeth City State University. He currently works at Booz Allen as a AI/MLOps Deputy Branch Lead for the ADVANA platform as well as a Business Development Lead for the Intersection between Data Science and Cyber in the Chief Technology Officer Department.
