Bio

Dele Ogunseitan holds the University of California Presidential Chair at Irvine, where he is professor of population health and disease prevention. He directs the education program for the University of California Global Health Institute, and a member of the institute's planetary health center of expertise. Dele co-directs the World Institute for Sustainable Development of Materials (WISDOM). He researches the intersection of industrial development and the burden of disease and disability with attention to environmental justice and sustainability.
