Bio

I am a petroleum engineer with strong background in Physics and Applied Math. I have worked on developing new geostatistical methods for modeling heterogeneous and low-permeability reservoirs. My professional experience also includes application of machine learning algorithms in geological modeling. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D degree in Energy Resources Engineering at Stanford University in SUPRI-B research group.

Current Research and Scholarly Interests

My PhD research lies in the area of stochastic analysis of subsurface flow and study of stochastic PDEs. Specifically, I am working on the development of accurate and fast methods for uncertainty propagation and risk assessment of two-phase flow. I am also interested in developing efficient uncertainty quantification methods which can account for more challenging and complex input geological fields, e. g. non-stationary random fields with complex distributions, for example, such as modeled with multipoint geostatistics.
