Bio


Sandip Suprai DNP, NP-BC, is a nurse practitioner with the GI/Liver team here at Stanford Healthcare and also the APP Lead for the GI/Liver/Nephrology team. She has been at Stanford Healthcare since 2003. Sandip got her Bachelor's in Nursing from California State Hayward and worked as a registered nurse on E3 at Stanford Healthcare prior to pursuing her Masters in Nursing from San Francisco State University, a cohort program with Stanford Healthcare in 2007. Sandip joined the GI/Liver team in 2011 and has been here since then. She also obtained her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2016 from San Jose/Fresno State University and took on the APP Lead position in 2015 for the GI/Liver and Renal team. She is on the Liver Quality team, APP week committee, served on the APP Wellness committee, APP General Council, Press Ganey committee and many other process and quality improvement projects within the department!. She was recently offered the chair position for the APP subcommittee for the Northern California Society for Clinical Gastroenterology (NCSG)! Sandip finds her job to be rewarding and she enjoys caring for her patients and working with her supportive interdisciplinary team !
