Bio

Dr. Waldrip is a Propel Postdoctoral Scholar in the Boussard lab. Her research aims to develop a digital twin for breast cancer patients that will ultimately support the advancement of precision medicine and improve clinical decision-making and patient-centered care. Specifically, she will use machine learning, deep learning, and mechanistic modeling using multimodal and multiscale data to fulfill her goal. She will also create a framework to evaluate bias and fairness of the algorithms as well as their clinical feasibility and utility. Her research interests include clinical AI, precision oncology, health equity, and bias mitigation.
