Bio
Shimon Tanaka has published fiction in and won prizes from The Gettysburg Review, Glimmer Train Stories, the Michigan Quarterly Review, and AGNI, and has been anthologized in Best New American Voices. He has received fellowships from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, the Asian Cultural Council, and the Stegner Fellowship. He is currently at work on a novel exploring Japanese propaganda artists and Kim Il Sung's Repatriation Project. He lives in San Francisco.
