Shiqiang (Nick) is a Postdoc Scholar in Dr. Meagan Mauter's group. He earned his Ph.D. degree at Virginia Tech (Blacksburg) focusing on nutrient-energy-water (NEW) nexus and development of sustainable technologies with minimized footprint. His research projects include osmotically driven membrane processes (water recovery and reuse), bioelectrochemical systems (energy recovery), and photocatalytic applications. With a dual-background in Environmental Engineering and Chemistry, he would like to contribute more on interdisciplinary wastewater treatment, water reuse, and multi-level resource recovery.
