Bio

I primarily work with reptiles and amphibians in forests and agroecological landscapes to investigate the consequences of land-use decisions on biodiversity, species interactions, and invasions. In Costa Rica, I research the effects of strategically diversifying oil palm farms on herpetofauna diversity and habitat quality. I am interested in the interconnections between political ecology, food sovereignty, and wildlife conservation.
