Tony Mendez, MSN, RN, FNP-C is a Lead Advanced Practice Provider for Inpatient Cardiothoracic Surgery at Stanford Health Care. He graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree from Samuel Merritt University in Sacramento, CA in 2018. From 2018 to 2019 he was a member of the first cohort of Cardiothoracic Surgery APP Fellows in the APP Fellowship Program at Stanford Health Care. His area of clinical practice is cardiothoracic surgery, specializing in preoperative workup, critical care, and postoperative management.
