Bio


Ellen grew up and received education in Taiwan. Since 2018, she has happily settled with her family in the heart of Silicon Valley. Before joining Stanford, she had been working in the think tank for the Taiwanese government with the research focus on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Policies for over 9 years. She conducted researches in Science Park Policy, Academia-Industries Collaboration Mechanism and International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Policies. Studying Innovation and Entrepreneurship Policies unexpectedly orbited her career around connecting Taiwan and Silicon Valley, she had been traveling between both sides and investigating the two ecosystems in the past years. She enjoys the role of bridging the two sides of the Pacific Ocean, to her, it's full of conflicts, challenges, opportunities and creativity.

She's joined Stanford as the Program Manager of Taiwan Science and Technology Hub since 2023.
