Matthew Padilla is the Environment, Safety, and Health Manager for the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Lightsource (SSRL) at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. He has served in various ESH roles at SLAC for over 25 years, working as a Hazardous Waste/Environmental Protection Technician and Site Hazardous Materials Specialist prior to joining the SSRL safety office in 2006.
