Bio


Megan DeMott, MD, earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Biochemistry and Philosophy from Claremont McKenna College, graduating summa cum laude. She received her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed residency training in Emergency Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, where she served as Chief Resident. She went on to complete a fellowship in Medical Toxicology at the University of California, San Diego.

For the past 15 years, Dr. DeMott has practiced at an indigent care hospital in Brawley, California, where she is dedicated to serving underserved populations. In addition to her clinical work, she mentors Stanford physician assistant students, fostering the next generation of healthcare providers. Her professional interests include medical toxicology, emergency care, and health equity in vulnerable communities.
