Bio

I am a PhD student in Public Policy (Economics Track) at Harvard, and am visiting Stanford in the fall. My research focuses on energy and environmental topics, applying tools from industrial organisation, trade, and spatial economics. My current work studies the power system in Europe, with a particular focus on the coordination of cross-border transmission infrastructure and the role of the grid in transmitting shocks across regions. Prior to Harvard, I completed my undergraduate studies in Environmental Policy and Management at Tsinghua University and earned an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford. I also gained experience working with the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and the World Resources Institute on energy- and environmental-related issues.

Outside of work, I love dancing and occasionally perform contemporary dance, classical Chinese dance, and Chinese ethnic dance. I also enjoy visiting museums and exploring bakeries.
