Bio
Pamela Ratliff, MPA is the Program Director of Educational Initiatives and Partnerships at the Stanford Cancer Institute's Office of Cancer Health Equity and a Fellow at the Stanford Medicine Center for Improvement. With an unwavering passion for health equity and a deep commitment to eliminating cancer disparities, Ms. Ratliff oversees the strategic development and implementation of educational programs and services that focus on underrepresented and medically underserved populations in the Greater Bay Area. Throughout her decades-long career, Ms. Ratliff has managed complex community-academic partnerships and spearheaded initiatives that prioritize sustainability, impact, and equity. Her background spans clinical services, cancer education, research, community engagement, professional training, and capacity building. Ms. Ratliff is the designer and producer of several multi-level, customized and culturally tailored in-person and virtual cancer events and programs that infuse science, research, and education. As a recognized leader in the field, she serves on numerous local and national advisory boards and coalitions, where she contributes her expertise and leadership. Ms. Ratliff's dedication to advancing healthcare has earned her numerous accolades, including recognition from the Silicon Valley Business Journal, Johns Hopkins University, Stanford University and several esteemed organizations, including Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., and Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. Her contributions have also been acknowledged by the City and County of San Francisco, the California State Legislature, and both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. As a thought leader and true change agent, Ms. Ratliff continues to elevate the voices of the most vulnerable members of our communities, driving forward meaningful change in cancer awareness, survivorship and beyond.
