Bio

Aadhityaa Mohanavelu is a Ph.D. candidate in the Osman Lab at Stanford University, where he works on quantifying water and infrastructure challenges and developing more equitable and resilient infrastructure systems. His research uses tools and techniques from diverse disciplines, including computational modeling, artificial intelligence, qualitative methodology, spatial analysis, and sensor-based experiments, to better understand infrastructure and environmental problems and develop innovative solutions.

He has a strong background in modeling hydro-climatic systems, studying infrastructure resilience, and assessing environmental hazards. Aadhityaa is a 2023 Quad Fellow in the inaugural cohort. Outside research, he loves to hike, read books and travel.
