Bio
Dr. Aditi Sharma is a Research Scientist in the Division of General Pediatrics at Stanford University. She earned a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degree at Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Sheffield. Her research primarily centers on health disparities, with a particular emphasis on marginalized and underserved communities. With over a decade of experience in public health, she specializes in community engagement, evidence-based research, and qualitative study methods. In her current role, she is a member of Dr. Patel's lab, Partnerships for Research in Child Health, where her research focuses on community-engaged approaches to address child health disparities, particularly regarding food and nutrition insecurity in low-income and minority communities. Dr. Sharma also serves as a mentor to 2-3 undergraduate, graduate, and medical students annually.
