Bio


Amy Sturt is a physician scientist with an interest in women's global health and the intersection of Neglected Tropical Diseases, sexually transmitted infection and HIV vulnerability. Her work explores diagnostics for genital schistosomiasis and the integration of female self-sampling with the evaluation of reproductive tract infections in Zambian women.

Amy holds a PhD and DTMH from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, an MD from Georgetown University, and completed her Infectious Diseases fellowship at Stanford University where she is a Global Health Faculty Fellow.
