Bio

Ana Skomal is an Assistant Clinical Professor of the Division of Hospital Medicine at Stanford. A California native, she started her journey at the University of California Davis where she studied Food Science and Technology. After completing a Fulbright scholarship in Malaysia, she pursued her medical degree at University of California San Diego with an emphasis on Global Health. She ventured up north to the University of California San Francisco to complete her Internal Medicine residency. Her interests include Native and rural health, point-of-care ultrasound, bedside procedures and medical education. She enjoys making music, painting and filmmaking.
