Dr. Aneesh Chandel received his Ph.D. from Cornell University, where his research focused on ecosystem modeling and soil–plant–atmosphere interactions, with an emphasis on hydraulic redistribution and carbon–water dynamics. He is currently a researcher in the Dukes Lab, where his work aims to advance understanding of the role of plant roots in ecosystem function and their contribution to plant survival under water stress conditions.
