Bio


Anjana joined the E-IPER team in April 2014. She currently is the Associate Director of Program Strategy, supporting curriculum design and instruction, program evaluation, and collaborating with the faculty and staff teams to develop new strategies and improve processes across all aspects of the program, including program design, development, and alumni engagement. She coordinates E-IPER’s Collaboration Grant initiative, continues to advise E-IPER Joint MS students, and lead oversight of the Joint MS curriculum.

Anjana brings a broad set of environment, energy, and sustainability expertise to her role. Prior to joining Stanford, she spent ten years driving environmental improvements within manufacturing and research practices, and creating sustainability strategies for large corporate clients. She also worked for five years in community college education, leading multi-stakeholder teams to build clean energy, environmental science, and sustainable campus initiatives, and deliver social innovation programs that served a diversity of communities.

Anjana’s work is collaborative and solutions focused. She is passionate about supporting E-IPER’s mission to solve the world’s most significant environmental and resource sustainability challenges through the development and education of future global leaders. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Science in Environmental Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology Stuart School of Business. Anjana enjoys being an active parent and avid traveler to friends, family, and forests near and far.
