Bio


Bac Tran is a lecturer, textbook writer, and professional translator. He has authored and co-authored a number of books including Conversational Vietnamese, Easy Vietnamese, Colloquial Vietnamese, Vietnamese Practical Dictionary, and Vietnamese Dictionary & Phrasebook, and is a co-translator of Ship of Fate -- a memoir which was named one of the best nonfiction reads in 2021 in Global Development by the Guardian (https://www.theguardian.com/global-development/2021/dec/15/books-explain-world-guardian-writers-share-best-nonfiction-reads-2021?).
