Bio


Beatrice is appointed as the Teaching Fellow for the Environmental Law and Policy LLM program at Stanford Law School. Her research focuses on the protection of the environment in relation to and during armed conflicts, trends in rights based mitigation climate litigation and opportunities to strengthen Nation-State environmental relations.

Prior to joining Stanford in 2022, Beatrice has held faculty positions at the University of Edinburgh and the University of Western Australia. Beatrice is a Research Associate at the Edinburgh Centre for International and Global Law, University of Edinburgh and a Doctoral Researcher at the Ghent Rolin-Jaequemyns International Law Institute, Ghent University. Beatrice serves as the Chair of the Congress of Nations and States Environmental Commission. Prior to academia, Beatrice has worked in both the private and public sectors and has a background in environmental policy.

Beatrice holds a Bachelor of Laws, Master of Commercial Law, Master of International Relations, Master of Diplomacy and Trade and is a doctoral candidate at Ghent University, Belgium.
